1. About Flosshaven

Flosshaven is a platform for cross stitchers to track patterns, projects, and materials, and to discover designers and patterns within a community-focused space.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must not impersonate others or provide false information. Flosshaven may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. User Content

Users may submit content to Flosshaven, including pattern information, images, project updates, comments, reviews, and other community contributions.

You retain ownership of the content you submit. By posting content on Flosshaven, you grant Flosshaven a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, store, reproduce, and distribute that content as part of operating and improving the platform.

Content you post may be publicly visible together with your profile information, such as display name, avatar, and profile link.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights to share any content you submit. You must not knowingly upload or submit content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others. You must not knowingly submit links to unauthorized copies or distributions of patterns or other copyrighted material.

Flosshaven is a community-driven database and does not verify or guarantee the originality, ownership, or copyright status of patterns listed on the platform. The inclusion of a pattern in the database does not constitute an endorsement of its originality or a determination regarding the intellectual property rights associated with it. Flosshaven may remove content, pattern listings, or external links that it reasonably believes are unauthorized or infringing, including in response to information provided by a rights holder.

Reviews and comments reflect the opinions of individual users and do not represent the views of Flosshaven.

4. Acceptable Use

• Do not upload content you do not have rights to share
• Do not harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Do not post hateful, defamatory, sexually explicit, or illegal content
• Do not post spam, scams, or misleading reviews
• Do not misrepresent patterns or their origin
• Do not impersonate designers, creators, or other users

5. Content Accuracy

Flosshaven is a community-driven platform. Information may not always be complete or accurate. Users rely on content at their own risk.

6. AI-Generated Artwork and Designs

Users should not misrepresent the origin of patterns, artwork, or design, including falsely claiming authorship or failing to disclose when artwork or pattern design is generated using artificial intelligence, where applicable.

7. Third-Party Links

Flosshaven may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those websites.

Flosshaven does not knowingly link to unauthorized copies or distributions of copyrighted patterns and may remove such links when they are identified.

8. Termination

We may remove content, limit visibility, suspend accounts, or terminate access to Flosshaven if users violate these Terms, disrupt the community, repeatedly or knowingly submit infringing content, or engage in abusive or harmful behavior.

9. Flosshaven membership

Flosshaven Plus and Flosshaven Supporter are recurring subscriptions processed by Stripe, charged in USD and may include applicable taxes. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms andprivacy policy.

You can manage payment details and cancel through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period; Plus benefits then end, while images already uploaded remain stored at their existing quality. Except where required by law, subscriptions are not refundable and no free trial is offered.

10. Disclaimer

Flosshaven is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flosshaven shall not be liable for any damages arising from use of the platform.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Flosshaven after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
