Flosshaven is built to support designers. Whether you design patterns full time, occasionally, or are just getting started, this platform exists to help your work be discovered, shared, and respected.
What Flosshaven is
Flosshaven is a community-driven database of cross stitch patterns, projects, and materials. It is designed to help stitchers find patterns they love, organize their projects, and discover the designers they love.
Every pattern page is meant to point people back to the original creator wherever possible.
How your work appears
Flosshaven's pattern database is both designer- and community-driven, patterns may be added by the community or the designer themselves. When a pattern is listed, we aim to include accurate and useful information such as:
- Your name or brand
- Links to your website or shop
- Pattern details such as size, format, floss usage, and publication info
- Purchase links where available
- Extensive tags to make discoverability a priority
Supporting creators
Our goal is to support designers.
- We do not allow piracy or sharing of pattern files
- We encourage links to official shops and purchase sources
- We want Flosshaven to help stitchers find and support original creators
- Pattern and designer discoverability is on of the main reasons Flosshaven was built
AI transparency
Flosshaven requires transparency about AI usage in the creation of the artowrk or design patterns are based on because transparency matters to many stitchers and designers.
- Patterns may be labeled based on available information
- The goal is to help users make informed choices
- Designers are always welcome to provide clarification or corrections
If something is labeled incorrectly, please get in touch so it can be reviewed.
