Cookie Policy

This page explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on Flosshaven. Last updated August 5, 2026.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites function properly and provide a better user experience.

How we use cookies

Flosshaven uses cookies primarily to ensure the site works as expected and to support essential functionality.

  • Keeping you logged in
  • Maintaining your session securely
  • Remembering basic preferences

Types of cookies we use

Essential cookies

These cookies are necessary for the website to function. They enable core features like account login and security.

Cookieless analytics

Flosshaven uses privacy-preserving analytics to understand page views and aggregate performance trends. PostHog is configured not to store cookies, local storage, or session storage on Flosshaven.

Performance technologies

These help us measure how quickly pages load and whether the site is working reliably across different devices and browsers.

Advertising cookies

When Google AdSense is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, and similar identifiers to display and measure ads. Where required, we will ask for your consent before enabling these technologies. With consent, ads may be personalised; without it, Google may serve non-personalised ads where available.

Third-party services

Flosshaven uses third-party services to operate the platform.

For example, Supabase is used for authentication, data storage, and core functionality. These services may use cookies or similar technologies as part of their operation.

PostHog EU Cloud is used for lightweight product and website analytics. It is configured in cookieless mode, with autocapture, heatmaps, surveys, session replay, and user identification disabled. PostHog does not store analytics cookies, local storage, or session storage on Flosshaven.

Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights are used to understand traffic, page performance, and reliability.

When advertising is enabled, Google AdSense helps display and measure ads. Google processes advertising data under its own policies. Learn more in the Google Privacy & Terms information.

Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect how the site functions.

Before advertising cookies are enabled, Flosshaven will provide a consent control that lets you accept or decline them. You can change that choice later through the same control. We do not enable Google AdSense until this control is available.

Advertising cookies may remain on your device for up to 13 months. Google may retain information it processes under its own retention policies.
