Keep your pins and needles handy while you're stitching or sewing with these floral wrist pincushions. We've all been there - we put our needle down and while it's there one second, the next it's mysteriously disappeared! Long gone are the days of your hand rummaging down the side of the sofa, or fumbling with a tin of pins - these wrist pincushions are not only pretty, but practical! Designer Susan Bates has come up with four pretty floral themes so you can make matching sets or mix the patterns. Use an aida band for the wrist straps with a decorative scallop edge for a finer finish - remember to measure your wrist first to work out the length of the strap and avoid unnecessary extra stitching. Full instructions for how to make these up are on page 52. If giving as a gift, turn one of the designs into a small card or tag as a sweet addition.
