Welcome Autumn

With the first cool evenings, the first golden sunsets, and the moon still full, the air of autumn is imperceptible but it’s arriving, and with it, my Welcome Autumn! The pattern continues the series I began last spring and now portrays everything we love most about autumn. You’ll find three sweet little animals: a robin, a fox, and a squirrel, pumpkins, oak branches with acorns and yellowed leaves, mushrooms, a lantern whose dancing flames light up the autumn evenings, then a teapot with a nice cup of piping hot tea, a warm, colorful sweater, and also everything you need for a truly cozy day: a plaid blanket, books to read, a cup of hot chocolate, and a lit candle. You can stitch the pattern as a single piece or create ten small ornaments to decorate your home, or, if you will make it, a branch as a small autumn tree.
