Under the Stars (Square Edition)

In 2020, I learned about woven coverlets through a post by Ellen Reid. I was inspired and started reading up about these beautiful woven textiles. It also resulted in a pattern, “The Zimmerman Coverlet”. Sometime after, I purchased a fragment of a colourful 19th-century coverlet, now in my personal collection. It was with these coverlets in mind that I started designing “Under the Stars”. Some 18 months now after the original release, Caroline from Evertote in Canada sent me a photo of the design beautifully stitched by Kathy Unruh, who took the design and turned it into a square. We both loved it so much that I am now happy to present this version of the original design.
