The Belvedere

Victorians Across America- Design No. 55 HISTORY: The Belvedere was named for the beautiful view from the cupola structure of the top of the house. The house is a symbol of the early success of J.R. Jones who arrived in Galena in 1840 and rose from the position of clerk to become a full partner in a suppy firm.
