Feel the refreshing ocean breeze as you look out over the bay, in this evocative coastal scene. Ursula's clifftop vista could be one of many places along the 19,000 miles of Britain's coastline. So what seaside spot is it that you hold close to your heart? Somewhere in the holiday favourite of Cornwall perhaps? The garden county of Kent? Or maybe it's the dramatic landscape of Scotland? Wherever it is, this large and impressive picture will be a welcome reminder every time you look at it. This project has plenty of colour changes, particularly in the sea, to give the impression of movement. Some of the tiny tumbling crests on the otherwise calm sea appear in silver metallic thread, which reflects light, just like the real thing. You will need: Threads: Stranded cotton and metallic thread, as listed in the key Needle: Size 24 tapestry needle Fabric: 14-count white aida measuring 33x40cm (13x16in) Extras: A frame of your choice with a minimum aperture of 22x29cam (8 1/2 x 11 1/2 in) Stitching time: Approx 70 hours Type of stitches: Cross stitch, backstitch Level: Intermediate
