Bringing together the best moments of each season, this sweet sampler celebrates the beauty of nature. One of the joys of living in Britain is that every few months you have a new season to look forward to, each with its own special traits. We love a crisp winter's day, frost glinting from the branches, but also can't resist that transition into spring, as the sun starts to warm us through and new life grows from the ground. But maybe you prefer the long lazy says of summer, or feeling the crunch of leaves under your feet as autumn days begin to creep in? There's something for everyone in this sampler, made up of a selection of motifs and seasonal scenes, including a field of lambs and a row of colourful beach huts. Build the whole sampler using just whole cross stitches, backstitch, and a bit of longstitch against a 14-count aida background. So it's an ideal quick stitch to take you into the New Year. Work round the design, one motif at a time, and this sampler to celebrate the four seasons will be finished before you know it! Stitching Time: Approx. 35 hours Type of Stitches: Cross stitch, backstitch, longstitch Ease of Stitching: Beginner Shopping List: - Zweigart 14-count white aida measuring 30x35cm (11-3/4" x 13-3/4") - Stranded cotton as listed in the key - Size 24 tapestry needle - Frame of your choice with a minimum aperture of 20x22cm (7-3/4" x 8-1/2")
