Scary Sampler

I have a deep and abiding love for classic gothic literature and sci-fi television and movies, especially if there is a strong element of spooky/creepy/scary/strange. This sampler is an ode to the classic mourning samplers of old, complete with a weeping Willow tree and cemetery urns, but I’ve added a modern twist, incorporating references to many of my favorite authors, movies, and television show episodes. Pattern includes a list of the included references for your sleuthing pleasure! Stitch Count: 247 x 215 Model stitched with one thread over two as well as a small amount of one over one. (floss usage calculated for one thread on 32 count; all colors require one skein unless otherwise noted. If you will be stitching with more threads or on a different linen count, please adjust as needed).
