Night Heron Niche is a bookmark cross stitch pattern in my art nouveau-inspired water bird series. It features two adult black-crowned night herons perched on dead longs and framed by willow leaves. The model was stitched with 2 threads on 14 count "Misty Lime" perforated paper from Mill Hill. Pattern Details - 37 stitches wide x 88 stitches high (approx. 2.6" inches wide by 6.3" inches high on 14 count fabric) - 1,500 stitches - Calls for DMC threads (11 colors) - Uses cross stitches and minimal backstitching
