The theme for 2024 SAL are beautiful and whimsical representatives of wildlife β fungi! In the coming 7 months, we will study them, distinguish mushrooms (edible) from toadstools (inedible), and share photographs of especially valuable specimens found in the forest. πΏππππ± This year the SAL will be twice unusual. π The first unusual thing π This time our SAL will be shortened, the last part will be released on November 15. This is due to the fact that the next 2025 SAL will be a calendar and will start earlier. βββ π The second unusual thing π We recommend to use for this pattern the fabric with the printed design drawn specially for this project. It can be washed, ironed, nothing fades, holes in the fabric do not get clogged, cross stitching is a real pleasure. π The fabric will be available in our e-store in the next week, and the stash will be replenished regularly. π’ The conditions of participation: β¨ Participation is totally free β¨ You can use any materials for work, not necessarily recommended β¨ There is no need to sign up anywhere. β¨ There are no mandatory reports. β¨ You can join at any time. The process tag for the SAL is #of_fungi_SAL, in November we will give you one more tag for the finished works. The first two parts will be released on May 3. There will be a month to finish them. Further stages will be released once every 2 weeks, on Fridays, as everyone is already accustomed to. There will be a total of 15 parts in the design, each part containing approximately 700-1300 crosses. The largest parts are the first and last. π’ Mushrooms and Toadstools Design Features: π Designer: Galina Egorenkova π 16804 crosses, 15 colors, embroidery size 137 x 320 crosses. π See the table for sizes on different counts and color consumption. π The diagram will be in color and b/w in PDF and Saga formats. The final part of the SAL will be released on November 15, 2024. Finished works will need to be posted in the finishing album by December 31 inclusive. We will sum up the results after the New Year holidays. πΏππππ±
