Reading about fantasy heroes often means reading about swords and warriors. Perhaps a blade here or there gets lost and reclaimed by nature, before it is found and used again... This blade may be lost, but you don't have to lose your place in the book you're reading! If you turn this pattern into a lovely bookmark, you'll always be ready for another adventure! 🗡️💜 Your download includes a full tutorial on how to create the bookmark in the image! Check out the other bookmark in this series too: Lost Flower Blade. Both patterns use many of the same DMC colors. Colors & Stitching: Uses 18 DMC colors with no backstitching required. Difficulty: Suitable for Ambitious Beginners! Design Size: 33 stitches wide × 117 stitches high Finished Dimensions: • 14 count: 2-1/2" wide × 8-1/2" high (6cm wide × 21.2cm high) • Pattern also includes measurements for 16 and 18 count Aida. Model Material: This bookmark was stitched on 14ct white plastic canvas, trimmed to size, and backed with white felt. The felt was attached by stitching around the edges with a single strand of DMC B5200. Plastic canvas gives a lovely, sturdy finish, but it can be a bit tough to stitch through, so I recommend using a smaller tapestry needle for easier stitching! 😊
