Capture the essence of summer with these gorgeous blossoming gladioli, a lovely way to brighten up any home! What better way to spend a summer afternoon than soaking up some sunshine in the garden? There's something about seeing fresh flowers bursting from the flowerbeds that has such a cheering effect. And, with their tall, elegant stems and blousy petals, gladioli have to be up there as one of our all-time favourite summer blooms! We just love how the beauty of each individual flower head is enhanced by all the other ones around it. Designer Amanda's lifelike rendering uses a pastel colour palette, with each flower resplendent in a range of hues. We love how the lights and shades on each petal create a sense of depth - and the backstitch, in complementary colours, gives a refined look. Plus, it's fab to think that these detailed flowers are individually shaped without any fractionals at all! While this design would make a striking wall hanging, we think a cushion is the perfect make. A pretty decoration for any home, it'll be a lovely way to bring the outside in.
