Dragons may just be big fantasy lizards, but that doesn't mean that their colors need to be boring! A plum-pink dragon feels entirely believable. Vibrant colors in nature usually mean something, like how poisonous frogs show their hues to warn predators away; likewise, this dragon seems to be saying, "Careful, I'm feeling dangerously fabulous today!" This dragon pattern was originally a gift pattern to preorder customers of my first book, Fantasy Cross-Stitch. Colors & Stitching: Uses 17 DMC colors with no backstitching required. Difficulty: Intermediate Design Size: 85 stitches wide × 104 stitches high Finished Dimensions: • 14 count: 6" wide × 7-1/2" high (15.4cm wide × 18.9cm high) • Pattern also includes measurements for 16 and 18 count Aida. Model Fabric: The pictured design was stitched on 32ct Murano evenweave by Zweigart in Slate Blue (5106).
