Show that special someone in your life just how much you treasure them with this pair of lifelong pals. The beauty of this design lies not only in its paired-back simplicity, but in the way it can mean different things to different people. By capturing that little moment of those two beaks touching, this heartwarming scene could represent the love between two sisters, a husband and wife, between a mother and child, or the closest of friends. We adore the way the greenery frames the pair, but our fave touch is the heart0shaped dicentra blooms, hanging like nature's bunting. On soft blue evenweave as a subtle sky backdrop, it's ideal if you have a little stitching experience. But if you're new to using evenweave, this fractional-free chart is a lovely introduction. It'll be easier to do the backstitch, as the sketchy style of the design means some backstitch is worked over one thread of the evenweave (or splitting an aida block). Not only will this stitch fill your heart with sunshine, but it'll also brighten up any home it hangs in! Stitching Time: Approx. 30 hours Type of Stitches: Cross stitch, backstitch, French knots Ease of Stitching: Intermediate Shopping List: - Zweigart 28-count ice blue (550) evenweave measuring 35x38cm (13-3/4" x 15") - Stranded cotton as listed in the key - Size 26 tapestry needle - Frame of your choice with a minimum aperture of 21x24cm (8-1/4" x 9-1/2")
