Cats love nothing better then getting cosy, so this comfy cushion serves as a fitting tribute to them! Anyone who's had a cat knows it's more about them owning you than the other way around! Padding around the house like a prince or princess, meowing to be fed, or jumping on your lap when it suits, they certainly are full of character. And Carol has captured this perfectly in Tiger and Smudge - two regal kitties that definitely deserve to be celebrated in stitches. Worked mainly in whole cross stitches for a painterly effect, with the smallest amount of longstitch for those whiskers, you'll love stitching the detailed markings on the cats' soft coats and creating depth and definition through clever shading. The bold, geometric border (complete with adorable yarn and paw print motifs!) finishes the piece beautifully, making the cats pop against the abstract background. And while it would make a lovely wall hanging, we think a cushion is the perfect make - surely any kitty would be happy to claim it as their own!
