As summer boasts bright colours and detailed designs, there is something special in the simpler designs, the ones that let us appreciate the beauty of the season, with a positive affirmation to remind us to enjoy life. Fiona's sun and sea hoop is a design to work on to unwind, using repetitive motion to meditate. We recommend working on this outside in the warm sun. You don't need to learn any special skills for this design as it's simply backstitching in repetitive patterns. Remember to pay careful attention to the line colour and number of strands in the key as colours don't always match the thread shade. Designed to fit a 6in hoop, some stitches are covered by the hoop's edge to ensure a full coverage finish. Sit back, relax, and keep your eyes peeled for the autumnal hoop coming soon...
