We absolutely adore Margaret Sherry's illustrations - from the way she captures cuteness and whimsy in her works, to how easily they translate to cross stitch, it's always entertaining to see what her animals get up to. These two mice are in the kitchen baking away, either a set of muffins, a mouthwatering sponge cake or even a batch of cookies - let your imagination decide! 28 thread shades are used in this delightful design. With a couple of similar blue and brown shades, we'd recommend pre-sorting your strands before you start stitching to stay organised, making your own organiser using punched card. While we painted our hoop blue, you can choose your preferred colour to match your kitchen decor as this design will look delightful in that space.
