Stitchrovia

Designer I've been fascinated with embroidery, especially cross stitch thanks to my wonderful grandmother. She displayed them all through the house and I always wanted some of my own. As I trained in graphic design I wanted some which were more contemporary but struggled at the time to find any which I liked enough to stitch. It was then that I decided to design my own. One turned into 10 and before I knew it my friends and colleagues wanted to stitch them too and later persuaded me to sell them online. It was then that Stitchrovia was born. Since then I have become a regular designer for Cross Stitcher, Cross Stitch Crazy and World of Cross Stitch. As well as designing for DMC too! I have been nominated in the British Craft awards for Cross Stitch Designer of the year and Best Newcomer. I design from my home studio in East London.
